A Brief History of Gastronomy.

One of the things that has always been on my mind, is how did we get to were we are today in the culinary biz. We are all pretty much familiar with what I call the recent history of gastronomy. Basically we tend to view the beginning of haute cuisine to be accredited to the French. While there is some truth to this in terms of putting things in a format that is organized and referenced. Outside of this box, is a whole other story that is more inclusive of the world at large. Click the following image for a brief history of European Gastronomy.
